FlowMic for Linux

For 64-bit Intel or AMD PCs (not ARM): a .deb package for Ubuntu and Debian derivatives, and a portable zip for other distributions. Tested on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

Download the .deb package and install it with apt to resolve runtime dependencies automatically:

sudo apt install ./FlowMic_*_amd64.deb

If you prefer the portable zip archive, extract it and ensure the required system libraries are installed:

sudo apt install libwebkit2gtk-4.1-0 libjavascriptcoregtk-4.1-0 libsoup-3.0-0 libayatana-appindicator3-1

An X11 desktop session is required for typing into other windows. On Wayland sessions, FlowMic will run and receive speech recognition results, but window isolation prevents typing text into target applications.
